Spring is officially here, and the temperatures are on the rise. Zoe loves swinging in her Johnny Jump Up seat so much that we figured she'd like the playground swings. This afternoon Darin and I took her to a little park nearby and wow did we ever underestimate. Not only did she like the swings...she LOVED the swings and her giggles and smiles show that. I also got some pictures in random places in the park. She just wasn't sure what to think about everything...until she saw dirt. When dirt is spotted, she knows exactly what to do with it...scoop it up and try to eat it. Yuck!

Winter Weather in March???
Of course we'd see snow no other time in the year but the end of the winter season...oh, and right after the week long warm spell of 70 degree weather. This is the scene that I woke up to on Tuesday morning and again this morning. Not much coverage, but enough to have cancelled schools and a bit of ice and slush on the road. And I thought Texas weather was erratic!
Ba ba ba ba ba........
Anyone out there that is an expert at baby talk? She's talking non stop now; to other people, to her toys, and sometimes to absolutely no one and to nothing. I can't help but wonder what she's thinking and what, if anything, she's trying to say. Here's a video of a wonderful conversation b/w Zoe and her daddy who is obviously proficient at baby talk. :-)
All I want for Easter is my two front teeth...
Seven months have passed, or should I say have flown by. She's almost 8 months old and still learning new things every day. Now that we've overcome the stomach flu for the second time, things have returned to normal at the Buscher household. Except for the fact that she's been trying to push that second tooth through. The first one came through without so much as a whimper but wow...this second one must have hurt. She had two days where she would just randomly have fits and bouts of screaming, arching her back, and clenching her fists. I guess all I have to say about that is this: 7 months going on 17 years...but they're both through now and she's much better. Now back to the frustration of trying to learn how to crawl. :-(
