I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas...

Well, I thought I was lucky to get a white Christmas last year in Dallas during a random snow storm that dumped about 3 inches over the course of a few hours.  But I got one again...two years in a row...how lucky is that!?!?  This year we switched things up a bit and instead of going to Dallas for Christmas, went to Darin's parents up in Illinois instead.  First Christmas not to be in Dallas in 29 years...felt a little weird.  But we had a good time nonetheless.

So what do you get when you put two Buscher grandparents, 8 Buscher parents, 10 Buscher grandboys, and 2 Buscher grandgirls?  This!

Translation:  A whole lot of Buschers.  Here are some pics of our week long visit.

So here's a breakdown of this 22-member family.

First, there's Grandma and Grandpa.

Then...Grandma and Grandpa's four sons.

Followed by those four son's wives.

And then you have ten grandson's

And the..ahem...two granddaughters.

Making a total of 12 grandkids...

And then the grand snowstorm...gave us at least 3 or 4 inches of snow for days and days on end.  So my kids apparently don't do cold well.  They would want to go outside and play, but as soon as their little nose felt that cold air, they wanted back in.

The unsuspecting victim

Not so much liking the snow angel thing

Christmas eve snow...check out those flakes!

Total amazement at those white balls falling from the sky

Merry Christmas from our family to yours! (hey...a week late is better than not at all!)
