The Buscher household right now is peaceful and quiet. The little one is napping. 30 minutes ago, however, that was NOT the case. Let me give you a glimpse into our morning. We had just gotten her off her potty (with another pee success) and I had her in a diaper and a Halloween shirt that her grandmother had bought for her. The pumpkin lights up when you move. She loved it when I first put it on. Her jeans were in the dryer being dried. ...So here's the scene
She has learned to run now - so she ran around the room in circles with a string between her legs pulling a singing porcupine pull toy in one hand and holding a large Tupperware bowl in the other that we used as a distractor toy while I was cooking one night. No pants on yet...just shirt, diaper, and socks. In addition to running in circles, she's singing to herself and saying "Zoweee Zoweee". Periodically she'll stop to look at the lights on her shirt and say "light" only to resume running with the porcupine toy bopping along behind her...often not on it's two wheels as it is supposed to be.
Ah the joys of parenthood.
