My precious Ethan, one year ago today, God said it was time for you to come into this world. You had spent 9 long months forming into a precious, perfect (in your mommy's eyes), little baby boy.
One little life seemingly insignificant when compared to the number of people on the face of our earth, but oh so important nonetheless...important to your parents who were blessed with the awesome task of raising you to be a godly young man...important to your Heavenly Father who longs for the day when you will become His child.
You have grown so much, physically, mentally, and emotionally. You learned to smile, laugh, roll over, sit up, pull up, cruise, crawl, and finally to walk. You've learned to give hugs and kisses. You've learned that you really don't like it when mommy walks away from you and leaves you with someone else. You've learned that you can wrestle with Daddy. You've learned to say "Tank UUUU" and make your mommy's heart melt. You are one loved little baby, and I hope you ALWAYS know and remember that. But more than that, I hope you learn from your Daddy and me to love Jesus with all your heart, mind, and soul. That alone will give you life...a life filled with joy. If you can learn that, you can do anything!
